  2. They seem to be in decent enough shape, you should be able to sell them at the prices already mentioned, maybe a little higher.
  3. Ah, good to hear! We like seeing cool notes here, hope you can post a few in the future. Good Luck!
  4. I only enter info into the three required fields which are Category (Country), Issuer (I always select all Issuers) and denomination, then I look through the choices to find what I'm looking for. I try not to get too specific in my search. I've never had an issue looking up notes in the price guide but have if searching PMG cert numbers, for those they do limit your searches and will lock you out for a few days. Maybe. You can try posting the question in the Ask PMG section of the forum and see what they say.
  5. Which note are you trying to look up? Sometimes there are notes missing. The price guide is, for the most part, a reflection of Pick (The Standard Catalog), if it's not in Pick then there is a good chance it won't be in the price guide.
  6. Thank You for adding slots for all varieties in the Ukrainian National Bank, Hryvnia 1995-1998 Issue, Specimen, Complete, Including Varieties set! I was wondering if the same could be done to the Ukrainian National Bank, 2003-Date, P116-Date, Specimen, Complete set. Cert #'s for reference: 2091567-032 8075069-021 8075069-022 8075069-019 2002023-002 Thanks, Mike
  7. Hi, I'm having trouble getting cert # 1857232-099 (2019, 1000 Hryven, Pick # A128a) entered into the proper slots, I think the issue might be that it was an UNL Pick # at the time of grading and was mistakenly included in the 2021, 1000 Hryven (Pick #A128b) slot at some point. Anyway, I'm trying to get it added to the Ukrainian National Bank, 1991-Date, Issued Notes, set in the slot highlighted below, I can try just plugging it in again but that didn't workout the last time. Just want to give you a heads up before I do that again. Thanks, Mike
  8. Hello and welcome to the forum. The PMG price guide is located here, https://www.pmgnotes.com/priceguide/world-note-price-guide.aspx , you'll have to enter some information into a few fields but it's pretty easy to figure out once you give it a try. Honestly the best way to get up-to-date accurate pricing is to search sold listings at various auction sites, the PMG price guide is good to get a general idea but honestly some of the prices can be way off.
  9. That's what I'm seeing in the Sold Listings on ebay, some lower, some higher but right in that $60 range as a group. You might get more selling them individually, looks like they go for around $10-$15 a piece on average (shipping included) IF they are in excellent condition.
  10. Hi George, Personally I'd just try to sell them but if you can post some pictures of the notes, face and back, I might be able to provide more insight. Looks like you should be able to get around $60 if you sold them as a group raw. Having the notes graded would cost roughly $30 each and they would need to grade 66 EPQ or higher to recoup the cost of grading, not great odds of that happening.
  11. I send my notes in a box, you can send them in a bubble envelope but make sure you pack the note in between a few pieces of cardboard, or something similar, to prevent the note/envelope from getting bent. Nope, PMG will ship it back in their standard packaging.
  12. Good luck with the "impossible" set! I expect that you will get very far very fast which leads to the question of how soon will the Banco's wing of the ColonialCoinsUK National Collection of Paper Money Museum open. That's a lot of notes!

  14. Strange that it is missing only the Series number. Can you post clearer pictures of the note, face and back, and of the area where the series number should be? It's hard to tell but it looks like the ink might be weak in the areas around where the series number should be but it's hard to tell. Could be an insufficient inking error, or an obstructed printing error, or someone's creation/damage. If it is a legitimate error I doubt that it would be worth submitting, it's just not very dramatic and the condition of the note isn't great. On the other hand if you're looking to sell having it authenticated would allow you to obtain a higher price and make the note easier to sell, I'm guessing you might be able to sell this for around $100 if it comes back authentic, and you'd maybe make $25-$50 after all the grading costs are deducted. You also run the risk of the note coming back as not authentic or altered.
  15. The numbering system used in the Paper Money of the United States catalog is referred to as Friedberg, the number will all start with Fr. That is the number you should put in that column. You don't have to put anything if you don't want to, PMG will look it up but they will charge you a fee to do so. I don't remember how much, $5 I think.
  16. I'm sure PMG has a preference but in the end it does not matter, just make sure the sleeves are PVC free, particularly if storing notes long term, and make sure the notes are packaged properly for shipping. If it helps these are the brand I use for most of my notes, see below image. Wizard Coin Supply usually carries them but if they don't have any you can find them on ebay pretty easy. I've submitted notes in these sleeves a few times with no issue. I use the submission form to wrap around the sleeves to prevent the note from popping out the top, or you can place the sleeve/s in an envelope, or cut the side of a sleeve and place it over the top of the sleeve containing the note, etc.. Good luck with the submission. https://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/products/currency-sleeves/

  18. That was high on the list, or at least to take the litho stones and cliché's to use for printing at the next stop. I think eventually everyone grew tired of lugging the presses around and just came to a mutual agreement to only capture the custom tools for printing and to leave the press for the next guy as these towns/cities were often taken multiple times.
  19. I love that note/story Mike, great job and NEWP! So, will you be chasing the seal varieties and are there any known counterfeits from Montoya in existence?
  20. Two Binary-Radar-Rotator's, both replacement notes with different fractional prefix's.
