  1. Looks good to me, I think it's authentic. Ink's on the heavy side but seems legit, PMG isn't going to dock it for that, the stains, poor centering, etc., yes. The seal missing doesn't worry me as there seem to be several examples with the seal missing, some in PMG holders. It's possible the seal faded, was not applied, or applied poorly. Nice note.
  2. This is my second example of this piece, it's in slightly better condition than my other note. The face is generally well centered and cut very close to the cut markings, which you can see particularly well in the upper right corner. The printing on the back is slightly misaligned to the face and as a result a portion of the note above this one in the sheet is visible.
  3. On October 24th the NBU released into circulation 20 Hryven notes dated 2023 with the signature of the current NBU Chairman, Andrii Pyshnyi. The new notes are the third date and signature variety in the current series and will undoubtedly be assigned Pick # A126c. The current 20 Hryven design has also been used on two separate occasions for commemorative issues, once in 2016 and again in 2021, the 2016 notes having different security features but the same artistic design as the others. According to a recent study, 20 Hryven notes of the current design account for 6.3% of all notes currently in circulation in Ukraine, that's 169,200,000 notes worth approximately ₴3,384,000,000 Hryvnia or $93,935,000.88 USD. With the release of the new 20 Hryven notes the only other denominations not bearing the current Chairman's signature are the 50 & 200, and I expect those to be printed very soon.
  4. Thanks for the pics. The condition of the note is abysmal and the misalignment is not significant enough to be worth a premium, as a general rule if you can't see a portion of the next note it's not significant enough. It's a spender in my book but if you want to hang on to it cool.
  5. Welcome to the forum. Can you post a picture of the note.
  6. +40 = 5,885 Lots of Shahiv grading events in the last few weeks.
  7. Yes, they do. I don't know that it's worth having them graded though, I don't think you'd recoup the cost of grading if you ever sold. Especially if they didn't grade 70, which is all that I see available on ebay. I have several Utah goldbacks, they are nice pieces and enjoy them, but I wouldn't have them graded. Is there a registry set for them?
  8. If you're talking about the line running vertically through the portrait of Jackson it is ink from a teller/bank stamp. It's not an error.
  9. +47 = 5,845 Interesting, someone submitted coupons, 1 each, from the 1918 bond notes. I had hoped to one day get P#'s (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h) assigned to each of the eight coupons on the four different bond types, as they all have different maturity dates, but now that some have been submitted that dream is probably dead. It probably had a very low chance of success anyway.
  10. Won this at one of the online ANA auctions, if your a member you get 20% off if you win.
  11. Hmm, definitely sounds like they were cut from a sheet, and poorly at that. Uncut sheets were sold by the B.E.P. to collectors, cutting notes from sheets like this further decreases their value. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if someone tried to make a few "error" notes from the sheet either.
  12. Fr 1935-D* is the Friedberg catalog number. The note looks weird, was it cut from a sheet? Based on the availability and condition of this note it does not warrant grading.
  13. Ah, a Disney recreation coupon. Seems like these sell for around $70 raw on ebay, PMG graded 65EPQ examples seem to be fetching around $170, they are probably worth having graded if they are in as good of condition as you say. PMG does have bulk discounts, 50 note minimum, and there is no added value for the notes being consecutive.
