Forgot to mention this but with combined shipping I only paid $51.98. $25.99 each for 68 EPQs.
Even more excellent! Shipping costs make a difference and will influence my bidding and buying habits, $5 - $6+ off a note is enough to turn me into a frugal/compulsive shopper.

since the seller combines shipping, I got this P-110b
Excellent.

From what I can tell it looks like it's from a run in Oct of 2013, with 640,000 printed (typical). Have you tried looking at the BEP Production Reports?
U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing - Monthly Production Reports (moneyfactory.gov)
mycurrencycollection (star note lookup) does have the 2009A series listed, just not in the quick search. There #'s don't seem to match the BEP production report but I could be reading one or both of the charts wrong. I don't really focus on U.S. currency.

Hi All - I'm brand new to this site and chat board so thank you in advance for your thoughts and comments. I'm an estate liquidator and recently came across 4 - 1957 $1 silver certificates with sequential serial numbers: C90810642A, C90810643A, C90810644A, C90810645A. Each note is in amazing shape. I'm wondering if this collection is worth getting graded? And speaking of worth, what would you say the potential value is?
Welcome to the Forum.
I believe these to be fairly common notes and sequential #s don't really bring much, if any, premium so most of the decision will have to be based on what they will grade and where the break even point is between sell price at a certain grade and the cost of grading plus raw value. Having the four notes graded will probably run you around $30+ a piece, which means from what I'm seeing, with some quick searching, is that those notes probably need to grade at 65 or higher and I don't think they would. These seem to sell on ebay, with sequential numbers/in that condition, for about $5 a piece. I'd sell them "as is" unless you're confident in your grading skills.
A very cool find and some very nice notes, good luck.

At this point I'd prefer if PMG used the Banknote Book as their standard reference. I think the SCWPM is going to be left in the dust by BB if they don't get their act together.
Uh oh, I took a look around and and it seems that, as of May 26th 2021, CDN Publishing purchased Banknote Book and that you can no longer purchase individual chapters. It is only available as a yearly subscription through greysheet.com at $99 a year, that STINKS! It looks like you might be able to find some chapters through certain sellers and there are few still on ebay but that's pretty disappointing.

Here's the wavy lines watermark for those interested.

It’s a little frustrating how SCWPM does their varieties…on the older Nicaragua notes they give an A, B, C etc for different signature varieties. However on the most recent 1990 issues (that has a signature variety) they acknowledge the varieties yet don’t assign a letter. However the banknote book does recognise them and gives them an a & b!
And there is no mention of serial number varieties at all in SCWPM yet banknote book makes an effort to mention some (not all!!) of them! 🤦♂️
I think Banknote Book is a better reference than SCWPM but it's good to have both, I pity the people who only work off of SCWPM. I do like SCWPM and appreciate the work put into, it's a great reference and my go to when I just want to check something out real quick, but it's not intended as "the be all end all" for research. I dislike how they handled the Pick #'s, for Ukraine, and I wish PMG didn't lean on the SCWPM so much as a reference, but the Pick #'s are the #1 identifier for world notes by PMG and the SCWPM issues them so what do you do. Since Krause went belly up and Penguin purchased them I haven't heard if there will be any new issues coming out? I guess there must be as PMG seems to be coming up with new Pick #'s.
Here's the linked stars watermark that the SCWPM didn't assign/removed a Pick #.
It's a little hard to see the full layout so I laid it out real quit with a marker, the red helps show the larger overlapping/linked stars in addition to the smaller six pointed linked stars in a hexagon.

That is perfect my friend, Thank You!
Well that is not at all what I thought it would be, I can understand combining the two Pick #s but to not transfer the linked stars watermark to Pick # 35 as variety "c" is very strange to me. I had originally thought that Pick 40 may have been the zig zag lines of varnish variety and they just combined it with P35 as variety "b" but nope, they pretty much deleted it and didn't feel a different watermark deserved a variety for some reason. I can make a very strong argument that there are five varieties of this note and I will in an upcoming Journal entry.
Thanks again.

I'm wondering if anyone has an old version of the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money - General Issues, I have the 16th edition and under Ukraine Pick # 40 it has the following description "#40 has been merged into #35". I'm pretty sure I know what they did but I would like to get a transcript of the description for Pick # 40 before it was merged with # 35 to verify what I think they did. I have no idea when this happened otherwise I'd just buy the volume myself, so I'm hoping someone can help me out.
Thanks in advance,
FM

The 5000 Dinara completed the 1963 specimen issues for me.

Here's another for the group.
Held out for a long time before I bought this one but when a 67 popped up for sale, well... The issued note is harder to find in UNC condition and more $$$.

"Hey uh kid! Think I got a little problem here." but the good news is that my themed set is progressing nicely.

Hi,
Could a new Category and Set be created for Eritrea, Bank of Eritrea? Cert # 8084769-056
Also, what do you think about an Ireland - Northern, Danske Bank Complete set? Looking for a home for Cert # 8075808-001.
Thanks,

Your notes are FRB "C" , looks like they did seven 64,000 note runs for a total of 448,000 star notes, the second highest total of this series. If those numbers are correct.

They are not in bad shape, I'm still thinking high AU or on a good day maybe low MS. If you do a little research you might find some additional info, for example if they are from a low run or if notes from that FRB are rare, if there are varieties, check sold listings of that note, etc..
Here's an example that sold in 2017, I don't think yours are this high a grade, and I don't know if these have gone up or down in the past 4 years. If you can find something that sold in 2020 or this year in 58 - 62 that would be your best comparison.
-
Looks like they both have light folds in them and probably lots of creasing so condition is a factor but they still might be worth grading. I'd say they are AU based on the pics and just the front.

Prices of Notes Going Up?
in US and World Notes
Posted
I know this a bit of a tired subject in regards to other collectables but I only bring this up because I was just destroyed in an auction today for some U.S. scrip but in my other major collecting area, Ukrainian banknotes, I haven't really noticed any significant prices increases as of yet. Nor have I noticed increases in Michigan Nationals for the most part.
This is the piece, the same note, condition, date and signatures could be had for significantly less within the last year. I'm going to chalk it up as an anomaly at this point. Anyone seeing price increases in other areas?
