My wife had a fit when I let loose with a very loud yell, upon seeing my name and signature set had been selected.
I wish to send my greatest and sincere thanks to the judges of the 2010 PMG awards compitition. I am quite proud of the Allied Military Currency sets that I have put together, and especially the French Franc set. It was a dificult set to gather, and to recognized by this panel is, well it's hard to describe, but I have been letting everyone know. thanks very much. ps: watch th
are only the regular sets being judged?
this makes me wonder. the regular sets that I posess are nowhere near being award worthy. but I do have a signature set, WW2 Austrian Allied Military Currency, that is in my opinion very noteworthy. now Military Payment Money has been added to the regular sets, but AMC has been overlooked. AM I pe@#ng into the wind or will I someday see some recognition for my efforts? or did I miss the anouncement that stated they would be judged also?

First off, a Merry Christmas and a Happy Hangover to all.....I mean New Year...have a hard time with that one....
First let me update the PCGS grading story. I finally recieved notice of the completed grading at day 53. That is some "fast" work huh? Second, I was wondering, does the Notes area have the end of the year awards the same as the Coins area? And finally, I wish to give everyone from this site my sincere wish for a Merry Xmas, a Happy New Year, and may your collecting wishes all
it is now 51 working days
after three calls to pcgs, with no satisfaction at all, 51 days have passed and the notes are still not graded. according to the "customer service"? people, the days spent at shows and any thing else they think up, are down days and no grading is done. well I will help them in the future, I will never again submit notes to pcgs.
Six submission recieved 7/21
and as of friday, 38 days later..."we're sorry, we're running a little behind" and this on an advertised 20 to 30 day turnaround. which is longer than PMG....never again....
Just recieved the grades...
Just got note of the grades for 5 sr.481 MPC's I submitted, pretty good....have added them to the set...and now waiting for some from PCGS ...getting there....pictures will come later....dean
I have now put together the list of notes for a couple of sets
I have completed the listing of notes to be included in a MPC series set, both series 481 and 541. they are in the signature area of my sets if you would like to take a look and maybe give me your thoughts on them. thanks and enjoy
