Although with short sets like this one, consisting of only 5 notes, it's tempting to assemble sets by prefix.

I think the next thing I'd be inclined towards for building out "Gradually, then Suddenly," Would be adding more contemporary (2009-2018) notes from South Africa, Botswana and the other countries that made up the multi-currency period.

Seriously though, if you want to trade just let me know. (thumbsu

While I am distinctly disgusted with my luck :frustrated:I can't say it's something that overly concerns me or interests me enough to have both of us spending money on shipping over. Thanks for a very kind offer though.

I bought the note for the upgrade and I didn't really take note of the AB until after I ordered.

Prior to this the highest note I'd seen an AB on was a 500 Million P-82. This had lead.me to think ABs didn't exist above this point. That note you have suggests they exist for P-83 through P-85 at least. I still doubt it on the Trillions but I'm willing to be proven wrong if I ever see an AB 10 Trillion.

Now go set a challenge for yourself of building an AB set while I just sit here with my matched set of AAs.

Had the sound off , but pass! :whatthe: I don't think I'll be doing that anytime soon but it did look cool. Maybe I should get a brick of Bolivares and practice my artistic skills.hm

    You never know.

Something to realize is that that video is monetized and has gotten a lot of views, a lot of ad play, and he's probably made his $200 back many times over from YouTube revenue sharing. So good on him. We'd have a hard time pulling that off. lol

But yeah. Enjoy buying the art markers he was using. Those things ain't cheap either, yo! I say this as a former high-school art-brat. lol

Creating a blog requires good skills and much time. You will need to hire at least a content manager who will proofread and edit the texts.

I find people reasonably tolerant of typos in a blog type setting as it is less formal than a periodical. I see the bigger challenge if striking out on your own and not using a site like this is building an audience. You have to find and build an audience by promoting it elsewhere - places like here or reddit - or you're mostly just going to be shouting into the void.

    Good morning,

We would have to see the gas ration coupons before we could say definitively that we can grade them.  But in general, something like that would have to go under the Economy Special tier or higher.  You would need to complete two separate submission forms if they are submitted under different grading tiers.  You can send the two invoices in together and can request them to ship back together as well, if you wish.

    Thank you!

    Okay. Thanks for the information.

I may have to put these on hold for a bit or scale back my plans short term because I'd been thinking these could go in under modern since they're 21st century issues but Economy Special ups the cost from $20 to $40 a note.

If you decide not to grade them what would the response be / how would I be charged for looking at them or returning them?

  6. I'm wanting to send in 2 Zimbabwean P-3 notes and 7-8 gas ration coupons. The ration coupons have the RBZ seal but no cat number. Would the coupons need to be on a separate invoice or could they all go on the same invoice?

    frugal/compulsive shopper.

Now those are some words that don't normally go together, but I'm the same.

That was the main driver in me just biting the bullet and getting those 5 soberano notes all at once for $124. Getting them together cut the shipping by $16 vs getting them one at a time - almost paid for a note!

  8. These arrived today - a nice diversion while I wait a bit longer for my 15 newly-graded checks to arrive.

I saw the P-91e ending with no bids. It upgrades my old P-91 that is 66 EPQ in my competitive set and they're different sub-types so they now coexist in my signature set.

After I won that, since the seller combines shipping, I got this P-110b to go next to my P-110a in the sig set. I will likely try to have a 109a/b and 111a/b pair, just for fun. Getting 2-3 varieties is one thing but getting 8-10 varieties of each Fuertes note feels too intimating,

  9. Hi! I have a Venezuela P-91 (2014) that was graded before the catalogue was updated for this type. I was hoping you might be able to tell me what the correct sub-type is? I have a P-91e (2011) coming and I was hoping to be able to contrast the two in a signature set I'm building and wanted correct attribution of the type..

One of these days I may have to just get a bunch of these re-holdered to get rid of some "pick unlisted" notes. :ohnoez:I guess we'll see how long it takes me for it to bother me enough for that. lol

  10. For the Soberanos category (P-101 to date)

    https://notes.www.collectors-society.com/registry/notes/public_sets.aspx?CategoryID=1235&SetTypeID=10493

    And the Full Venezuela set

    https://notes.www.collectors-society.com/registry/notes/public_sets.aspx?CategoryID=1235&SetTypeID=9550

Could we get new slots added for the new 2021 notes (P-112 to P-114)?

Also, could the word Soberano be added to the 2018 slots in the P-101 to date set or removed from the 2019 slots for consistency?

If you add the word to the 2018 slots, could we add "Fuertes" to the Bolivares Fuertes notes (P-88 to P-100) for the other sets / categories?

For P-84 to P-99, could the date range be updated to 2016-2017? For P-100 could this be updated to 2017?

P-94-99 were announced in late 2016 and P-100 was announced in late 2017. I don't know if there are any 2018-dated P-100s but I kinda doubt it given the release of the Soberanos (P-101 to P-108) in March 2018.

I'm not sure if PMG will grade and holder it for you but you can ask in the ASK PMG section of the forum, they probably would.

I'd say she has a good chance of them authenticating and grading it, since it is a serialized government issue.

But if she can get the set in uncirc for $45 I think I'd send in a nicer one to grade.
