  1. Hello @Rarepapernote, thank you for your reply. No, when we state that there is "ink" or "minor" ink, this did not come from the manufacturing process. It would have been ink that was added to the note after it was printed. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  2. Hello @Andy1977, Thank you for contacting us. PMG is a currency grading company. We do not buy, sell, or value paper money. You can find out more about our company here: About PMG Unfortunately, PMG cannot advise if notes are worth sending in for grading or if grading will have an impact on their value. Many collectors have notes graded with the intent to sell the notes, while others use the service to authenticate the note and have them protected in the encapsulation holder. For current or anticipated values, we recommend checking online to get an idea of what that type of note sells for or having them appraised by a reputable currency dealer.  If you are interested in submitting notes to us for grading, you can find out more on the process online at How to Submit | PMG (pmgnotes.com) and our grading fees at PMG Services & Fees | PMG (pmgnotes.com). If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank you!
  3. Hello @Ramon Rosell, thank you for contacting us. In looking into our internal grading notes, the grades only mention "55" and do not show NET. Currently, the grade appears to be correct on the label. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  4. Hello @Akadri, you may write in the upper right-hand corner of the submission form which submission numbers you'd like shipped back together. The combined total of notes being shipped back with indicate how much we will charge in return shipping. There will be one combined shipping fee charged for all submissions we are able to ship back together. You may change your payment method to credit card if you would like after submitting. You may email us the card details or call in and provide that information. You may also update your payment information by logging into your account online and going to the Submission Tracking feature. Here you should find the Update Payment option. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  5. Hello @Libra Numismatics, I have received a reply from the grading team. They confirmed that due to the extent of the damage and repair work that had been done, our team decided to not encapsulate it. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  6. Hello @Libra Numismatics, I will see if our team has any additional information we can provide on this note for you. I appreciate your patience while I check on this!
  7. Hello @Libra Numismatics, thank you for contacting us. Certain banknotes are not eligible for PMG grading and encapsulation. In this case, banknotes that have altered design features such as dates, imprints, serial numbers, denominations, watermarks, etc. and banknotes that are not genuine or of questionable authenticity are not certified by PMG. You may kindly read more about this here: Learn more Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!

Hi Vlad, thank you for that information. Our PMG population report is currently still being built out on the all catalog #s we have graded, so it is not showing quite yet. We are still working to build out this portion of the pop report as more of these notes are sent to us, so we thank you for your patience in the meantime! Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  9. Hello @Jared Owen, thank you for contacting us. There is no grading tier specifically for uncut sheets of notes. Instead, please kindly select the grading tier that most appropriately fits the value of one uncut sheet as the grading tier. PMG can grade and encapsulate uncut sheets of notes as long as they fit within the dimensions of our custom holders: Custom holders. For grading purposes, the sheet count as one note since we grade the sheet as a whole and not the individual notes on the sheet. With this in mind, you will pay one grading fee plus the custom holder fee (either small or large depending on the size of the sheet). Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  10. Hello @luckyrollers, thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, PMG cannot advise if notes are worth sending in for grading or if grading will have an impact on their value. Many collectors have notes graded with the intent to sell the notes, while others use the service to authenticate the note and have them protected in the encapsulation holder. For current or anticipated values, we recommend checking online to get an idea of what that type of note sells for or having them appraised by a reputable currency dealer.   Kindly keep in mind that PMG does not buy, sell, or value notes in any way. Should you decide to submit the notes for grading, you will need to determine a declared value for each note. The value we ask for is an insurance value, an amount you would feel comfortable with in terms of a replacement value should your item get lost or damaged during the process. Each tier of service covers up to a maximum specified insurance level, select the tier of service which will accommodate the declared value for your item.  Current services and fees can be viewed online at PMG Services & Fees | PMG (pmgnotes.com). If you have any other questions, please let us know.  Thank you!
  11. Hello @keemao, you would use the "@" sign, and then type the chat board member's name next to it. That will send them a ping notification.
  12. Hello @keemao, thank you for contacting us. You can try tagging the other person in this post if you'd like and see if he replies. Some members like to keep their direct messages closed, so that may be a better alternative. Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  13. Hello @adrian nicolaz, thank you for contacting us. No, when the notation "As Made" is given, it is generally not an error. This is usually noted when a defect might not have been severe enough for us to list as an actual error but enough to at least notate it on the label. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

    Turnaround

Hello @AndrewV, thank you for contacting us. I see that the economy tier currently has a 35 business day turnaround time, and your order is on the 31st business day. Many times, you may not see the status updated until the tail-end of the turnaround time. If you see that your order has not moved by this time next week, please kindly email us at Service@PMGnotes.com and we would be happy to look into this further for you! For now, I do not see any notes saying anything additional is needed, so you should see updates on the status shortly! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  15. Hello @Bkillian, I have spoken to my team, and they said to go ahead and just note the error type in the comments section on the form. You do not need to select Variety since these are automatically designated. Once again, they do not require a fee for these to be designated. Thank you!
  16. Hello @davernon1972, thank you for contacting us. The consecutive bulk tier is listed as $15.00 per note. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  17. Hello @Bkillian, thank you for contacting us. Collectors and dealers who have error notes can submit them to PMG for certification under an applicable grading tier with “error” or the specific error noted under the Variety/Pedigree column on the submission form. There is no additional fee for this service. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  18. Hello @GuyMcRee, thank you for contacting us. Do you mind kindly providing the certificate number of your note (or front and back pictures of the note) so we may attempt to look the note up for you? Thank you!
  19. Hi @oseckid, thank you for the certificate examples provided. I have sent an email to our web help team in order to have this census data fixed. This process may take some time, so we thank you for your patience while our census data is corrected. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any additional questions.
  20. Hello @oseckid, thank you for contacting PMG. Would you happen to have the certificate number as an example for the BC-72c? If you have an example of a certificate number with this note being graded, please let us know and we can check with our WebHelp team to see if this can be updated. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
  21. Hello @numis6000, thank you very much for the certificate example provided. I have sent an email to our web help team in order to have this census data fixed. This process may take some time, so we thank you for your patience while our census data is corrected. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any additional questions.
  22. Hello @numis6000, thank you for contacting PMG. It is possible that we have not graded this type of note yet, which would result in it not showing up on our census. If you have an example of a certificate number with this note being graded, please let us know and we can do a little more digging for you. Thank you!
