The Smithsonian has made available, for free, the new book America's Paper Money. It looks like it mainly covers the designs/imagery of U.S. notes, with the main focus being obsoletes but it looks to touch on Continental Currency, NBN's and the Educational SC's. Did I mention it is free to download HERE.

This book/PDF is very interesting but it stops at about 1900 long before the end of Large Size Currency and the start of Small Size.

Looks like it has good information though on currency through the Civil War and up to and about the Educational Notes.

Still, a good resource especially if you are into Large Size Notes in the 1800's.(thumbsu

Yeah,

Doesn't really cover LSC or SSC, mainly during the free banking era and the Civil War.
