VonZilla9
I am going to ship a note to PMG. I have it in a plastic holder with an open top. Do I put it in an envelope and seal that? I can tape the envelope to the inside of a comic book submission package. Put that whole thing in a plastic shipping bag?
Administrator KaileeS CS Posted January 31 Administrator Report Share Posted January 31 Hello @VonZilla9, thank you for contacting us. We're excited to hear you are submitting your note to us for grading! Here is the recommended shipping instructions on how to package your note for shipment - • Pack the notes in a well-secured, appropriately sized box with the submission form. We recommend packing a box within a box. Do not tape, staple, glue or paper clip notes to cardboard or sleeves. Use bubble wrap or newspaper to protect notes inside their container. • Securely seal the package with reinforced shipping tape to prevent tampering en route. Any damaged, unsealed or poorly sealed packages will be rejected and returned to the shipper. • Do not put raw notes inside a box or envelope without some sort of protection. • If putting notes inside cardboard or envelope for protection, please mark that there are notes inside. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
VonZilla9
My biggest concern is the sleeve will move around in the box and come out the open top. Bubble wrap would seem to stop that from happening.
Administrator NickiO CS Posted February 1 Administrator Report Share Posted February 1 Hello @VonZilla9 Thank you for your reply. As Kailee mentioned, you are welcome to use bubble wrap. Tab lock boxes (example below) can also prevent the scenario you describe, as do cushioned envelopes. if you have any other questions, please let us know.
