But seriously this is a good problem to have. I keep an eye on the population reports and Ukrainian banknotes have been making big strides. While the pace has slowed in recent weeks I fully expect a large increase in the near future, an expectation such as that wouldn't exist without multiple collectors out there acquiring these graded notes, it's a simple matter of supply and demand. With out the demand it would be just me sending in only the notes I needed or deemed worthy for grading and greedily hiding them away in my collection/s. Having multiple dedicated collectors looking for notes really helps to shake them loose from collections and sellers. Not just common notes but also higher quality notes and harder to find notes. In the last month I've watched two P #50's go up for auction, a note that is not often seen, multiple specimens became available along with unissued notes and quite a few of the early Pick #'s have started popping up. All good things. As far as my roll in this I hope to convince PMG to add some short sets to the Ukrainian registry, right now they only have two short sets along with two large sets comprising over 100 notes. A 100+ note set is a daunting task to take on, and typically contains a few unattainable notes for the average collector. I feel if a few short sets could be added (specifically for the modern Hryven issues) that would draw in even more collectors. Hopefully, if more collectors gravitate towards Ukrainian banknotes even more great notes will become available, I have a feeling they will. So Bonezdog, Perfect-70 and all you other Ukrainian banknote collectors out there, bring it on! I love seeing new collectors and especially passionate ones and you can bet your last dollar that I will be there when the last Ukrainian note is gone.:wishluck:

Here's some of my latest additions, I got a really good offer/deal from one of the sellers of some of these. An offer I couldn't refuse. I'm sure glad nobody else seems to be going after the earlier notes or specimens, more for me. :devil:

The 500 Hryven Skovoroda Commemorative is hitting the pop report now with 14 graded and only 4 at 68 with none higher. The 2023, 20 Hryven commemorative hasn't hit the Pop Report yet so I expect a big increase for those in the coming weeks. The 2 Karbowanez saw an increase of +2 after an adjustment last week of -1, these notes popup fairly often in auctions as I've currently logged by serial number, with images and sales tracking, over 26 of these. Also, lots of the WWI era notes being graded currently, with many appearing to be going up for auction at major auction houses.

Interesting to see the large increase in the 1000 Karbovantsiv notes, I was kind of  hopping to see some increases in the lower population P#'s, or some new P'#'s, but it looks like it was more of the usual. The 2023, 20 Hryven commemoratives haven't hit yet either.

Another 5 Chervontsiv note hitting the pop report is interesting, and in the same grade as a previous note. I wonder if it wasn't a resubmission, if it goes up for auction we'll find out. The seven 500 Karbowanez notes being graded is a lot, but none got over the 66 EPQ threshold.

Yowzah! That is quite the correction that was made after the las update on Tuesday. I'm posting an image of one of the spreadsheets I enter the Pop data into, the image is of the entries over the last month and as you can see they really went at it this week. It was a bloodbath. :o

The 500 Hryven and 1000 Karbovantsiv denominations were hardest hit with adjustments of over 30 notes each. Some minor adjustments are common but a 228 note correction is massive. I wonder what facilitated the changes?

Ok, it's been a wild ride in the Pop Report the last week but all of the made on the 4th have been reversed with a few increases for some denominations. 

After the dust has settled, we have a net increase of +17 = 4,481

The Pop Report continues to fluctuate. I'm not sure if PMG is having software issues or what's going on, guess we'll find out on Tuesday if the numbers bounce back like last week.

The Pop Report continues to jump around like nobody's business, and I've noticed that I get this message if I try to import notes. They must be having some technical difficulties and/or trying to fix the glitch.

The Pop Report was still fluctuating wildly throughout the week, Tuesdays seem to be potentially accurate but until the fluctuating stops who knows. (shrug) The database is still shutdown and you still can't import new notes to your registry. I'm not sure what but something was changed, crashed, or both. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Obviously the 2023, 20 Hryven has finally hit the population report. lol Looks like there have been 90 submitted so far with only 12 at 68EPQ and 2 at 69EPQ, no 70's. Those aren't great numbers as grading %'s go and 90 is a big number, I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of sellers stuck with these and they'll have to unload them at fairly low prices.

There have now been 168 2023, 20 Hryven Commemorative notes graded with no 70's, two 69's and twenty-nine 68's. One-hundred-sixty-eight is an astronomical amount for one type of Ukrainian note, surprisingly I haven't seen many for sale but I expect they will be sitting on sellers shelves for sometime as I doubt the demand is there. But maybe?

Lots of interesting things going on this week in the pop report. If the Pop Report is correct there have been 223 grading events for the 2023 commemorative 20 Hryven banknote, way more supply than demand IMO for this note, still no 70s and only two 69s and forty 68s. Another P#35c was recorded in the Pop Report, bringing the total to five (35c was not included in the last SCWPM volume). It's also not looking good for my attempt to get the perforated and red-overprint 50 & 100 Hryven specimen banknotes of 1992 assigned separate Pick #'s as opposed to sharing the same as I see my submission in the Pop Report now and it looks like they lumped them together. Seems pretty ridiculous to continue to do so but I expect it's an attempt to save face as there are several of each variety currently in PMG holders with identical P#'s, or maybe there is a more legitimate reason that I don't know about. (shrug)
