PMG Bank of England database update/correction needed
1 1

4 posts in this topic

Hi PMG,

I just received a few dozen of my Bank of England King Charles III banknotes back from you and I have noticed that only the Pick#, and not the more widely used English Paper Money catalog B# was included on the label.

Therefore, I'd like to respectfully ask that you update your database so that the widely used B# is also included on future labels of these King Charles III banknotes.  The correct information is as follows:

Pick# 398a £5 is B419

Pick# 399a £5 is B420

Pick# 400a £5 is B421

Pick# 401a £5 is B422

Thank you for helping to correct this important detail.

Best regards,

Billy

Hi @Pastime Classics,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Can you please provide me with the certification numbers for these notes? I will be able to reach out to the team to see if this is something we will be able to correct for you.

Please let us know if you have any concerns.

Hi Alli,

Thanks for your help.

As a point of reference, among the certification numbers are: 2300005-003, 2300005-014, 2300010-002, 2300020-001, and 2300050-001.  These have been re-submitted as a Re-Grade under soon-to-arrive submission 2300003.

More than correcting these, my goal was to get the database updated not only for my re-grades, but for everyone else who will submit these notes in the future.

Thanks for bringing this to the appropriate team's attention.

Thank you for all that you do.

Billy
