PMG Label With No Grade

Hello.

 

I see a listing on eBay for a note in a PMG holder, but the label has no numeric grade - just 'Crisp Uncirculated'. Image attached. What can you tell me about this? Is it an old-style PMG label?

Thank you for your message. Normally, the notes submitted to PMG are graded using our numeric grading scale. However, there have been times when a customer might request a more generic "Gem" or "UNC" grade instead of a specific number grade. This is usually only in very specific or special situations and only after special permission has been given by our graders.

 

If you would like, you can send the note back in to us for a regrade and we can assign a specific number grade to the note. You can find information on how to submit notes for grading and the grading prices on our website at PMG
