    I have this dollar with a suffix letter "W". I have seen a few videos online that have an "X" and was wondering what the highest suffix letter has been printed.

    So I mostly keep an eye out for serial numbers, but every now and then I find some bills that have marks on them. What is the best way to tell the difference from a marker/dirt mark from an ink smear/smudge.

    Here are a couple "close calls" I found recently.

    Yeah the dropped 2. I know it was a mismatch, but I couldn't find another mismatch with a dropped number.
