Is this one hand signed or stamped/printed, the sig in red? Looks stamped but it would be one heck of a sig if not. Was there a changing of the guard that required the additional signature or is it just graffiti? An original Banksy perhaps?

As a student, you should work on perfecting the art of the translation essay  https://hinditranslation.org/2019/12/14/tips-on-writing-translation-essays-as-a-student/ . With this strategy, you can raise your grades. It's also an excellent strategy for becoming acquainted with the subject at hand. The success of a translation essay depends on the author's expertise in the field. An exhaustive amount of research is necessary. When reading from a wide variety of sources, be on the lookout for inconsistencies. After you're finished, save your work. A second set of eyes may be able to see typos or other mistakes in logic and grammar that the first set of eyes missed.

@Fenntucky Mike I would class that note as 'square' ! Great detail and an essay to read whilst you consider spending it.
There seem to be a few others about, odd ones from various countries but most square ones I have seen appear to be mainly early French and Dutch issues. I think the kids would just confuse them with post-it-notes.

I can only think of one note that is square or not a rectangle in my collection.

It did not start out life this shape, as it would have had 8 coupons attached to it (4 per side) measuring roughly 150mm T x 295mm W, but as the coupons were removed it was reduced to a lowly square. Totally L7 man.

Good afternoon, I read your comparison of a Ukrainian poet with a 100 hryvnia banknote, it became interesting. Snooker is not popular in Ukraine, so I didn't know Ronnie O'Sullivan. I found his photo on the net, and indeed, there is a certain similarity.

There is something to be said about collecting a series that is finite. Modern banknotes are bad enough but trying to collect modern bullion series is way worse. That is nuts, I dipped my toe in and got the hell out. Well, not completely but 99%.
I looked up ol' Ronnie and yes how'd he get on there. 😆

It is good to see that they are still issuing new notes.
I wouldn't be able to keep up with new issues which is probably why most of my coin and note sets deal with periods from long ago. An exception is probably El Salvador but there is still an end point as they now use the US dollar!
Everytime I see the 100 Hryven note I wonder why they put Ronnie O'Sullivan on it?

Great notes, Czech and other Eastern European notes seem to becoming very popular at the monment - a big growth area??. As there seems to be a shortage of ungraded notes, it is probably worth submitting some to PMG as graded versions are sought after and will only become more so.
I plan on sending some Latin American notes when I can figure out the best way to post them from the UK

Yeah I'll agree with you, it seems like there has been less available. Recently this note popped up, and while I'm not trying to get it I think it is a really nice note. Some of the notes from around that time period are so colorful and detailed.

I am actually having the opposite problem, the chat boards work just fin for me at my desktop computer but if I try and access them on my phone it loads wrong and is all jumbled. NGC works just fine on both for me as well.

Thanks - the more I find out the more diverse and interesting things are. It is not just coins and medals where there is a surpringly lack of information!
I am currently using my laptop as I can't do much from my phone at all as it needs an upgrade - apparently my provider will no longer support it from Easter 2023

That was high on the list, or at least to take the litho stones and cliché's to use for printing at the next stop. I think eventually everyone grew tired of lugging the presses around and just came to a mutual agreement to only capture the custom tools for printing and to leave the press for the next guy as these towns/cities were often taken multiple times.

I love that note/story Mike, great job and NEWP!
So, will you be chasing the seal varieties and are there any known counterfeits from Montoya in existence?

Oh man! Some of my references have such nice big blank areas just begging for me scribble in them, I can't resist.  I don't markup any of my classic references but on the moderns I show no mercy, especially when I have a "virgin" backup sitting on the shelf.

Very interesting to read about this. Do you know if any variations exist between other Ukrainian notes from 1992 and this time period. Kind of strange that only the replacement notes have the UV ink in them. Hopefully with your 100 more notes it will be a big enough sample size to draw more conclusions. Ill take you up on your challenge and ill post a response with my guesses sometime soon.

I don't think it is a Registry effect at all given the number of participants, although this may be the case for some selected modern issues, I think, like world coins, it is now normal to buy things unseen and from all over the place and grading gives a bit of comfort to the buyer in terms of the state of the note - actual identification of the note is a different matter though
I didn't get the my top picks I was after at Katz, I didn't get the 70 that I thought may be possible at a different auction either and funds I was trying to release for the upcoming sale at Heritage are delayed.
Plenty of others to choose from though and I even managed to complete a Set - all 5 notes!

A bigger budget!  That's a jealous rage emoji if you couldn't tell.
Bonez has some very high grade notes in that set, including a 70! Awesome stuff!  There are quite a few 70 notes in that series and I have seen several go up for auction but that's not something I will be chasing, for modern's 68 is my number, on occasion, a 69 if the price is right. I've talked about this before, but I just can't justify using my limited funds chasing notes graded 70, too many other notes out there that I would rather have. That's not to disparage others who do go after 70 notes, I get it, just not my thing.

Those are some nice notes you managed to pickup. Like you said they will show back up again though. There have been quite a few rare Czechoslovakia notes that have sold over the past few months, some I hadn't seen sell for a few years and they have been commanding very high prices as well. I still feel like I get a deal every now and again but I don't win too many auctions I compete for, things are going for more than I expect or can afford.
I kind of go for a mix of graded notes, mostly modern notes and most of the older notes I get are upgraded that I will submit eventually

I will be watching the Katz auction tomorrow so may pick up a couple if the price is right.
The strong dollar is probably playing a part but I think the fact the market seems to have brought out rare notes that have not been seen for a long time is more critical. Graded notes also seem to be achieving a premium and many of the rare notes are being newly graded, and not just those in top grades, but across the whole range.
Given coin and medal prices seem to be still going up after quite a few years it wouldn't surprise me if notes follow this pattern - I knew that years ago I should have collected British Colonial notes alongside the coins

@Fenntucky Mike Congratulations on picking up some great notes and even completing a year set. Pity that some got away though, hopefully it will not be long before they appear again.
There has also been lots of Quality and rare Latin American notes recently including those appearing over the next few weeks but prices being achieved have been amazing, I have usually been outbid, sometimes massively, but I have managed to pick up a few 'common' notes though which keeps things ticking over When everything is in Dollars or Euros the low Pound doesn't go very far

I'm still holding out for a $50 though, haven't found one yet in the grade I'm looking for.
I enjoyed your descriptions for the $50 & $100 notes, the $100 particularly.
