I have a 1999 penny and on the back the word America the am is touching is it worth getting graded

Thanks for your message.  We cannot advise you on if something is worth getting graded or not.  That is up to the individual and what you want to do with the graded note.  If your intention is to sell it, then you'd want to check to see what that type of item is selling for and then compare that with the cost to submit.
