Grading of Bond certificates - world

Hello

In PMG's main site news feed, there is an announcement that PMG now grade world bond certificates. This is very exciting news.

Several collectors wish to submit their world bond certificates for grading along with the reference number however PMG do not mention which reference catalog should be used for world bond certificates (the world bonds to be graded are pre-1950 covering the area of Vietnam, French Indo China, Asia Pacific region).

Can PMG please clarify:

  1. World bond certificates are accepted for submission to PMG for grading
  2. What reference catalog/ book should be used to add the reference number to the PMG submission form
  3. Does PMG accept French Indo-China bond certificates for grading

If PMG can kindly answer the above questions it would be appreciated.

Hi, thanks for your message.  Yes, we are now grading bond certificates but there is no official catalog or reference book we use for these.  So you will not be charged any sort of research fee for these and you can leave the catalog number section blank on your form or write N/A.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.  Thank you!
