Lincoln 50c Fractional Currency

How likely is it that an ungraded Lincoln 50c Fractional Currency note is a forgery?  Are forgeries common on auction sites like eBay?

Thank you for your question.  Unfortunately, we would not be able to comment on whether a note is a forgery without first examining it.  However, it is definitely possible for counterfeit notes to be purchased, even on sites such as Ebay, although if you purchase through a reputable dealer then I'm sure it is less likely.
