highest grade

I am new to collecting paper money.  Sometimes at auction a note will be described as highest ever rated.  How do I know this is true?  Is there a registry for all the notes you have graded?  I am only interested in Canadian notes.

We do offer a Population Report where you can check to see how many of a particular note we have graded and how many of each grade.  You can access the Population Report on our website at www.pmgnotes.com and you will find the report under the "Resources" tab at the top of the page.
