Heritage Auction (FUN)...

i'm bidding on some items, i watched a little bit of the Live bidding,

but it was making me want to spend money and kinda sick, so i had to stop.

 

$2,000 - $5,000 - $10,000 etc..... who has that kind of money - crazy people ??

where/who do these notes goto ?? are corportations buying these ??

two people won the $330 megamillions, i guess they were currency collectors too.

 

i can't compete with them, thats why i stopped and just try to collect what i can.

helps to stay within a resonable budget, or at least try too.

makes collecting more fun for me.

 

if i win anything, it will be posted in my PMG collection.

Recently won in the 2011 FUN Heritage Auction (online bidder)

 

F-60 Series of 1917 $2 Legal Tender, Graded: PCGS 63PPQ

Heritage cataloged this with a provenance from 'The R.D.Bradley Collection'

This note was a major upgrade to a raw piece of the same Series that I was given by my grandparents many years ago. It is also my first graded Large-size note in my collection. Here are both notes side by side:
