What should someone safely pay for...

Hello,

I don't know if these kinds of questions are welcome on the boards or not; as I usually get a response like "whatever someone is willing to pay as the answer." However, what is considered safe to pay for the following note:

1918 $1 New York (F-712) PMG 65 EPQ note?

I can't really find any recent pricing data on this note. I would settle for a 64 EPQ; but can't find any for sale!

If anyone has any info, or if this should be posted in another section; just let me know!

Thanks!

Have you looked at the Heritage auction archives? Once in awhile I'll get lucky and find one or two notes in the exact grade that sold within a couple years.
