As noted in the last journal I have sent in the 1963 star notes set from Skyline Coins, all of the are 65 or better. THE SMALL SIZE NEW ONE DOLLAR 2017 SERIES NOTES WILL BE ADDED TO ALL THE SETS THIS YEAR FOR BOTH DC and FW RUNS
I hope to complete the 2017 series of one dollar notes this year. In checking the population report, it's show that the total number of One Dollar notes graded at the end of last year is 543,984 an of that 176,139 are small size Federal Reserve Notes an of that 40,488 were One Dollar notes. The plan is to complete all of the remaining twenty nine Back Plat Error and Mule notes for the One Dollar FRN District Master set by the end of this year. This will be part of 46 note slots needed to complete the "$1 FRN District Master Set" for all the open slots. Over last year (2018) a total of 237 notes were sent in for grading by PMG and added to the sets.

THE NEW 2017 SERIES WILL BE ADDED TO ALL EXISTING SETS, ALSO THE COMPLETION OF THE MULE AND BACK PLATE ERROR NOTES FOR ONE DOLLAR SETS AND UPDATING ONES THRU THE ONE HUNDERS DOLLARS REGULAR ISSUE NOTES SETS.

As I complete the One Dollar Master Set with only 43 notes remaining, I will spend more time building the other series of notes starting with the Two Dollars series thru the One Hundred Dollars notes, the first will be the Fifty Dollars notes and working to update and fill in the open slots. The second will be the five dollars sets. This will take some time to complete, for all of the sets. You will see them change as the notes are added to the sets. As part of this expansion I hope to see the BEP SHEET NOTES be added to the Registry sets, this would fill in and complete all of the sets for the One, Fives, Tens and Twenty Dollars notes that were printed by BEP and sold thru the BEP store buy United States Mint as a “premium product for the collectors”.

BEP ADDING MORE STAR NOTES - ONE RUN ONLY 3,200,000
In checking the last updated www.uspapermoney.info website on May 15th shows that only one run of Washington DC Boston A-star notes, so-called 80,000 this may be part of the November 2015 runs of 3,200,000 notes and only reported in April monthly update. It always best to check the updated printing reports on BEP website. As to the price only time will tell. I will be checking with my local Bank of America for new notes.
As-noted in us paper money update, Run #1 of Boston A1 star notes was also never reported by the BEP, but notes from this run have likewise been observed. The length of this run is greater than 2.5 million notes, so it was likely a full run.
Also the following notes have been printed, from Washington DC are FR #3002-A*, C, E, E* and the Fort Worth are FR #3001-G* and L* star notes, they are all listed in the April report.
We all get lucky from time to time, with new notes.

PMG REWORKED THE SCORING TO ADD THE STAR DESIGNATION

We all woken to a big point lost on June 19, 2014The Society just updated all the small size FRN and other notes to add the STAR designation to the sets, they lower most of the existing note score by seven to ten points for each note, within all my sets this was a total lose of 8,742 points in my sets. I have a total of 1,556 notes within al my sets. The Society remove points for most of the existing notes, there are tens of thousands of existing notes. The score should be left the same and add points for new STAR designation. At this time there are no counts of STAR designation within the population report. They need to rethink this scorings to the system; the collector should not be penalized at this time for this new designation. You can see the changes by checking the HISTORY section, you will see the notes that were reduced on June 18, 2014, also you can open the slot description to see both the updated poins and the new points for the STAR designation.Updated on August 9, 2014, PMG added the STAR designation to the population report to show the number of star for each notes.New update on April 7,2015, the main change was the same point scoring in all sets.To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here. With the President in the White House, its look like we will see the new redesign Twenty Dollars bill with in this year or next year, with "Harriet Tubman" on the bill in 2022 or 2024 series, only after the new Treasurer of the United State and a new Secretary  of the Treasury are name and approved by House and Senate. We will see the new "Harriet Tubman" bill that will be printed; I hope they can be printed at both the Washington D.C. and at the Fort Worth TX location. This will be the first time a person of color will be on any U S currency in the history of the United States. This bill first design was the 1928 series with Tate-Mellon and the next was in 1996 series with the Withrow-Rubin "Big Head" notes series was last printed in that format.
Starting in 2004 the new redesign notes with Marin-Snow series was the first printed in that format, and rand from 2004 thru 2021. This will be the fourth redesign for the Twenty Dollar notes. This is one of the most used notes of all the currently in circulation today. The Harriet Tubman bill will be an open face design, the same way as the series of 2004 current bill that are in circulation. This will be a newest note in the series of Twenty Dollars notes, within this collation.

THE 1974 ONE DOLLAR STAR NOTES SCORING CORRECTION
The Collector Society just updated the One Dollar star notes scoring for SSFRN Fr #1908 series of 1974 within all sets. The changes can be seen within all existing sets. This update move some of the notes into the RARE Note as base on the PMG latest population report, with 4 at the lowest and 23 at the highest shown in the report for each slot. Also the society is also working on most of the Small Size Federal Reserve notes to add mules and back plate error to the $1 Federal Reserve Notes - District Set with Stars and Varieties set.
You can see the updated set in my $1 FRN DISTRICT MASTER SET. With only four percent or 22 notes are needed to complete this set, they will be the hardest of the notes to fine with some not listed in the population report and the addition of 2013 series of notes to be added.
In the header of this set type for $1 Federal Reserve Notes - District Set with Stars and Varieties is a complete history on the building of this set and the future notes to be added for the SERIES of 1981 CHANGEOVER PAIRS to the set.

THE COLLECTORS SOCIETY - HAS UPDATE THE NOTES SETS WITH THE ADDITION OF 2013 SERIES NOTES
Over this past year The Collector Society has updated and corrected all of the Small Size Federal Reserve Notes sets and has added new notes to all of the denominations sets. But most of the work has been on the One Dollar notes sets with the addition of mules and back plate error notes along with the addition of the 2013 series notes printed by both the Washington DC and Forth Worth Facility. With the addition of the mules and the back plate error notes such as the 1974 FR #1908 with the 905 back plate error and the 1985 FR #1913 with the 129 back plate error were added to the One Dollar Federal Reserve Note - District Set with Stars and Varieties, this set now reflex the notes that are in the PMG graded notes within the population report. Also the Collectors Society have added and corrected the other sets and updated the scoring for the newly added star designation notes. Over this year (2016) you will see more changes to all of the Small Size Federal Reserve note sets. Also over the next two years we may see a change in the addition of a 2013A notes with a change of the Treasure of the United State or the Secretary of the Treasury.
Take a look at this Set Type: $1 Federal Reserve Note - District Set with Stars and Varieties, you will see the latest addition to the set. Within this district master set, there are 282 PMG-66E, 116 PMG-67E and 13 PMG-68E. Also within this set there are 42 RARE notes with a score ranging from 250 to 2500 points and three notes with a PMG-66 EPQ* star designation. Also only 48 out of 620 notes were purchase from a coin or currency dealer in a PMG holder, all other were from bank notes or from various current dealers and were sent in to PMG for grading. The remaining 4% or twenty two notes will be the hardest to fine graded or ungraded. The first change will be the addition of three new 2013 FR #3001-H, FR #3002-A and FR #3002-F* star. It had taken four year to build this One Dollar Master set and my take another four more to complete this set. Within the three One Dollar District Sets there is a total of 1,021 graded notes. Over the last seven years I have added a total of 1,946 notes, of that 1,941 notes are within all the sets.
This has been a very good year for the Small Size Federal Reserve notes and 2016 will be better.
Updated January 20, 2016 - The Journal Entry should be used to inform the members of the Collectors Society an add information to help the membership and share your notes and the love of the hobby. I have over the last six years to cover the Small Size Federal Reserve Notes and inform members of changes, upcoming notes and correction to the sets and help make correction to the scoring system, along with the addition of mules and back plate error notes. This series of small size notes will be with the American people for a lone time. As a collector I can not afford the price of sum of the large size notes or the gold series notes. This is away new members can start with notes from 1963 series to the present at a affordable price. The same way we all started with a penny collection or other US Mint coins.

    Collector Society Scoring Correction
The Society just up dated all the Small Size FRN one dollar note sets. They lower the point count for all notes with in all sets, you will see a lost of 100 to 10,000 points within each of the sets, like the $1 FRN - District Set with Stars and Varieties. In my set on 2/14/14 the total was 48,355 points, on 2/17/14 it was 38,802 points. Also look at the the scoring for the note, for $1 dollar slot: 1981 FR #1911-K, the point is the same for a PrAg to 63 grade are all 37 points and 40EPQ to 63EPQ is only 45 points for all grade, the last seven grade they go from 54 point for a 64EPQ to 317 for a 70EPQ.
Added on 2/18/14. The Society is reworking the scoring at this time and correcting them for each FR number. You will see the scoring change over the next weeks. All of notes are score in the bottom 30% for it the 39 scoring slots.
Added on 3/14/14. The Society reworked the small size FRN two dollar notes sets the same way they reworked onr dollar set. You will see a net 200 to 1000 points lost in your sets.
You will see the changes by checking the HISTORY section, you will see what note slots have been reduced or increased.
Good Collecting, keep up the good work.
