The last update by the BEP was for the fiscal Month of September 2020, this cover the Western Currency Facilities cover the 2017A series of notes. The only One Dollar notes that were printed were series 2017A E/A and E/B printed at the Washington DC Facility and for Western Currency Facility were the 2017A L/C series of One Dollar notes. This may be last set of notes to be printed under the current Secretary of the Treasury and the Treasurer of the United States.
With the election over and Joe Biden as newly elected President and with a new cabinet that will be names, we may see a new series of notes starting in mid-2021 with a new Secretary of the Treasury and a new Treasurer of United States. Also with the first woman Kamala Harris as VP, we may see a woman on the Twenty Dollars bill that was turn down by the other "GUY" in the White House, this would be a first and would be the right time.
Trump Disses "Harriet Tubman" reworked of the Twenty Dollars bills. The existing Secretary of Treasury Steve T. Mnuchin is correct when he says the reason for the delaying the long-planned reworked of the twenty dollars bill, is that he's got his hands full at this time is fighting counterfeiting. "The New York Times" quoted senior Treasury officials as saying that Mnuchin was worried that Trump might cancel the Tubman bill altogether, so he opted to avoid the inevitable outcry by delaying the release of the bill from next year to 2022 or 2028. The release date was to be next year, on the 100th anniversary of the constitutional amendment that acknowledge a Woman's right to vote. The information above was in the LOS ANGELES TIMES EDITORIAL section on Friday May 24, 2019.

PMG REWORKED THE SCORING TO ADD THE STAR DESIGNATION

We all woken to a big point lost on June 19, 2014The Society just updated all the small size FRN and other notes to add the STAR designation to the sets, they lower most of the existing note score by seven to ten points for each note, within all my sets this was a total lose of 8,742 points in my sets. I have a total of 1,556 notes within al my sets. The Society remove points for most of the existing notes, there are tens of thousands of existing notes. The score should be left the same and add points for new STAR designation. At this time there are no counts of STAR designation within the population report. They need to rethink this scorings to the system; the collector should not be penalized at this time for this new designation. You can see the changes by checking the HISTORY section, you will see the notes that were reduced on June 18, 2014, also you can open the slot description to see both the updated poins and the new points for the STAR designation.Updated on August 9, 2014, PMG added the STAR designation to the population report to show the number of star for each notes.New update on April 7,2015, the main change was the same point scoring in all sets.To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here. You can view the notes at the Heritage Auctions website, they will be listed with the following pedigee "From The Steve R PMG Registry Set Collection", if anyone want to fine all of the lots, you will be able to simply search for them, and they will all turn up. FRN - HERITAGE AUCTIONS - LESSON LEARN
As notes in my last jonrnal that I am down sizing my collections, with Heritage Auctions handling the sale of my small size notes collections of fives, tens, twenty, fifty and hundreds dollars small size notes sets, all of the notes are PMG graded. The auction is over and a lesson learn, make sure that you put a reserve on all you notes, that will cover the grading fees and a sale price with 15% of the book listed value. Most of the small size tens, twenty fifty and hundreds dollars notes were sold at face value or a net lost of 35% to 85% of net value listed in Standard Guide to Small Size U.S. Paper Money 10th Edition. Also using the green sheet makes no difference if a note is graded or not. The auction is a good place to sale your notes, but make sure that you make the final desision on the lowest sale price for a set of notes to be sold. I had two set that were sold below face value, seven 2009 $20 dollars notes that sold at $117.00 and four $50 dollars 1981 - 1985 notes that sold for $170.00. Also keep in mine to add a 10% seller commission to all sets or lots.
Heritage Auctions is a good auction house for it layout of your collection, and the way they set up the lots within the catalog.
I will use Heritage Auctions in the future to sale more of my collection, but I will set the price. I am a collector, not a dealer, 90% of the notes I had graded to build up the set, I LOVE the hobby, but I will not give-a-way my work, on building a good set of notes. I have over 875 notes that makeup my one and two dollors collection. I will keep building new set to my collection. I have 390 notes schedule for grading.
Updated on 1/15/14, It good to see some of the notes going to collectors in the registry. I am removing the notes as they are tranfer to other collectors in the registry, to date I have remove 59 notes and 42,763 points from my total score.

THE 1974 ONE DOLLAR STAR NOTES SCORING CORRECTION
The Collector Society just updated the One Dollar star notes scoring for SSFRN Fr #1908 series of 1974 within all sets. The changes can be seen within all existing sets. This update move some of the notes into the RARE Note as base on the PMG latest population report, with 4 at the lowest and 23 at the highest shown in the report for each slot. Also the society is also working on most of the Small Size Federal Reserve notes to add mules and back plate error to the $1 Federal Reserve Notes - District Set with Stars and Varieties set.

The One and Five Dollars notes, along with the addition of 2017 series of $10 and $20 notes. The plan is to complete all of the remaining twenty nine Back Plate Error and Mule notes for the One Dollar FRN District Master set by the end of this year. With the President in the White House, its look like we will see the new redesign Twenty Dollars bill with in this year or next year, with "Harriet Tubman" on the bill in 2022 or 2024 series, only after the new Treasurer of the United State and a new Secretary  of the Treasury are name and approved by House and Senate. We will see the new "Harriet Tubman" bill that will be printed; I hope they can be printed at both the Washington D.C. and at the Fort Worth TX location. This will be the first time a person of color will be on any U S currency in the history of the United States. This bill first design was the 1928 series with Tate-Mellon and the next was in 1996 series with the Withrow-Rubin "Big Head" notes series was last printed in that format.
Starting in 2004 the new redesign notes with Marin-Snow series was the first printed in that format, and rand from 2004 thru 2021. This will be the fourth redesign for the Twenty Dollar notes. This is one of the most used notes of all the currently in circulation today. The Harriet Tubman bill will be an open face design, the same way as the series of 2004 current bill that are in circulation. This will be a newest note in the series of Twenty Dollars notes, within this collation.

BEP ADD MORE NEW $1 NOTES - THE LUCKY MONEY COLLECTION
Over this year BEP will add more new runs of one dollar notes with the addition of the 2013 series printed by both the Washington DC and Fort Worth Facility. The following notes have been printed at this time, form the Fort Worth Fr #3001-A, C, D, E, F, G, G*, H, I, J, K ,K*, L and L*, the notes from the Washington DC are Fr #3002-A, A*, B, B*,C, E, E*,F and F*. Some of DC and FW may be issue by the BEP as Lucky Money starting with the first three number (168XXXXX) in the serial number. This note is considered as Lucky Note for many Chinese because the combination of numbers 168 together mean prosperity forever. I pick up only two 2013 Fr #3001-I (fw) with the serial I16881144A and I16881145A from the US Mint at the Long Beach Coin and Currency Expo Show, I have sent them in for grading an they came back grade as PMG-66E, the Collector Society completed the scoring for this note slot in its last update.
You can see the update list of notes on www.uspapermoney.info for all denominations.

New Data and Update on $1 FRN District Master SetThis set may never be completed, do to the fact that eleven mule notes are not listed in the PMG population report and some are not listed in some of the major publications. This set is listed as one of Best Set in All Sets. Over the next year I will be updating my SSFRN One Dollar set with stars and varieties, but this set will only get to 98% do to fact that the mule notes can not be found, also I have 15 notes in for grading. Over the next year I will be adding the following RARE stars notes to this set, they will be 1912-K*, 1913-H*, 1914-F*, 1917-F*, 1918-C*, 1928-D* and H* and the 1934-K*. At this time PMG is working to correct most of the error within all the one dollar sets as they add the missing and the new 2009 and 2013FW notes. Also no 2013 Washington DC notes have been printed at this time and all the Fort Worth notes are printed on fifty notes sheet, at this time no 32 subject note have been printed.Take a look at the set, I have just added my first two Star Designation notes to this set a 2009 FR #1934-A and a 2009 FR #3000-D* star both notes are PMG-66 EPQ/*Updated 3/2/17 To add photo of 2009 Fr #3000-D* in PMG-66EPG Star.To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here.
