1910 1000 Mark note

I have this german note, from my wife's "collection". So I'm off to the library over lunch to look in the world money catalog.

What's a reasonable grade for this? I'm guessing its a VF-20 or so, lots of wear and folds, but all the ink is still legible.

Nice note, I would guess F/VF is probably a reasonable assessment. I have an unc one I bought a few years ago for less than $10, but it's still an extremely pretty design!

I looked it up in the catalog of world paper money, 2003

 

it's a 1910 Imperial treasury note 1000 Marks #44 or 45, worth about $.50.
