Republic of Texas Notes

Both of these Republic of Texas Notes, $10 and $100, have Sam Houston on the signature line for President. I have heard that at times he actually may not have signed all notes but instead a secretary may have. I don't know if his real signature would necessarily increase the value of these much but any ideas on how to go about authenticating the signature. Also any thoughts or information on these two notes would be appreciated as well.

Rey, you might try posing the question over on my board. I'm really only a fractional currency guy, but user "MikeinTyler" on my board is an expert on Texas Obsoletes and notes from the Texas Consolidated Fund. He may be able to help you out.

Nice looking notes by the way!
