1934 Series $100.00 Federal Reserve Note

Hello I received this note the other night,Does anyone have any thoughts on it, I do not know much about collecting paper money, except to get it checked by PMG or another verification service. I do not know if this would be a good bill to send off to PMG. Peggy

Hi Peggy and welcome to the boards! From what I can see, the note looks to be circulated, but not worn, so an excellent find. I don't believe it would be worth sending to PMG unless it was an error or if you had reason to doubt its authenticity. These notes are not really rare, and in lighlty circulated condition may fetch a nice premium over face value (just looking at eBay, they range from $110 - $165), but that premium is likely less than the PMG grading fees.
