jtryka Posted June 14, 2007 Report Share Posted June 14, 2007 I was in DC on business and had a couple hours to kill on Tuesday, so I decided to go on a tour of the BEP. It was interesting to see how the currency is printed, as well as the historical exhibit at the beginning showing earlier currency and the equipment used. They also had $1 million in uncut sheets of $10 star notes in a glass case near the entrance. Overall, a fun tour and worth it, though if you plan on going, get to the ticket window early! So, I couldn't leave without shopping at the gift shop, so I picked up a coffee mug with a picture of the $100,000 gold cert on it, and three sheets of 4 uncut notes, a 2006 $1, 2003 A $2 and a 2004 A $20 star notes: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
