Reports this morning indicate that Treasury Secretary Snow has resigned and will be replaced with Henry M. Paulson, Jr. This would lead to a new series 2006 notes I would think, once Paulson is confirmed and the signatures are changed.

Huh? I thought the signatures just changed... Another change already?

 

When the treasurer changed they add a letter (i.e. 2003A), when the Treasury Secretary changes they change series, like moving from Series 2001 to Series 2003 then Paul O'Neill was replaced by John Snow.
