Gembeeyou
$1.00 FRN, major offset printing transfer; 100% of the face onto the back! This error occurs when a sheet of currency paper fails to enter the printing press, causing the inked printing plate to come in contact with the impression cylinder directly, resulting in the next few sheets of paper receiving both the correct face printing and a "transfer" or "offset" printing on the back from the previously leftover ink on the impression cylinder! Gembeeyou
No $1.00 favorites, eh? How about your favorite error of any denomination then?
collectingfamily
WOW...that is really neat! We just recently started collecting coins, but we do have a few bills that we thought were neat...but no $1. Kelly
Gembeeyou
Welcome Kelly! I thought there would be a lot of people here with error notes to share with us, but no responses so far. Across the street, they post 'em by the truckload! If you have an error note of ANY denomination, feel free to post it! Thanks.
