1981 One dollar bill

I had a friend at work this morning come in with what appears to be a one dollar bill that one corner was folded during the printing of the bill. You can unfold it and the other side has nothing printed on it. Just curious if this is common and would it be worth anything? I have more pics if needed.

Thanks.

That looks like a pretty major butterfly fold error! I don't know much about the values of errors like that, but they are definitely worth something (and maybe a lot!), so long as it is a genuine error by the BEP.

I found a couple similar ones on eBay, and they seem to be priced pretty high:

1977 $1

1985 $20
