Hi, I have a question about my little business idea. I'm going to open a little shop of handmade, and need advice how to do it right. Do I need to create a website? or is it better to get customers from social media? Do you have any idea?

You can do both, social media will be useful, but you obviously need a website, as you will be able to get customers without ads, but with the help of simple SEO. You can also use this tool https://seranking.com/competitor-traffic-research.html for getting traffic to your website. This tool shows you the resources of your competitors' traffic, so you can follow their practice, and make your website work for you.
