Help! About to submit a 1902 $5 Bank Note

4 posts in this topic

Hey guys... need a little help here. I'm a coin collector but know NOTHING about currency. I'm about to submit the attached for grading. Best I can tell, it's a Friedberg #607. Stupid questions: what is the serial number? lower left 169 or the longer number in upper right? How about plate position? Many thanks!

PS: this is ultra-crisp (my technical term!) untouched since 1920 best I can tell when my bank president great-grandfather gave it to my grandmother!

Apologies if it's a small pic... obviously new at that too!
