Estate Coin & Jewelry Galleria along with Sergio Sanchez will be hosting a one day display at its store of one of the largest collections of early Florida National Bank notes featuring notes from 48 of the 59 towns that issued National Currency from the late 1800’s to the mid 1930’s. Also on display will be a selection of United States Legal Tender Notes, Silver Certificates, Gold Certificates and Fractional Currency printed by the US Bureau of Engraving & Printing in Washington DC highlighted with a 1934 $10,000 and a $5,000 bills neither of which have circulated for over 50 years. The collection gives a great insight in the early banking history of Florida as well as other states in the United States.

The collection belongs to Sergio Sanchez, the current President of the PCDA (Professional Currency Dealers Association) and nationally respected dealer from Miami. Sergio, Jerica Garcia and Richard Stelzer will all be present to answer questions about the collection along with coin and other collectible concerns both US and foreign. Jerica formally worked for NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) as registry set coordinator and is currently the owner operator of Estate Coin & Jewelry in Sarasota. Richard Stelzer is a former founding grading finalizer for PMG (Paper Money Guaranty) the largest and most respected paper money grading and authentication service in the world. Sergio has had the entire collection graded and authenticated by PMG to insure its condition and protect the notes in the future.
