CGA question

Hi everyone,

Can I get some honest opinions on the company CGA, Currency, Grading, and Authentication Inc.. I have a note graded by them and I'm just not sure if they are an accredited company. Any thoughts?

There is no accreditating authority for paper money graders. Do you mean "credible"? If so, you are likely to get a variety of opinions.

what do you know about CGA? What makes you ask the question? what do you know about PMG or PCGS?

Tell us what you already know about the companies and it would be easier for us to answer your question.

I picked it up a couple of weeks ago. I don't suspect anything because the note is in pristine condition but I curious about the credibility behind the grader. Especially since heritage doesn't accept CGA

how do you know its in 'pristine' condition? When it comes to notes looks can be deceiving.

Pictures of the note in question in the CGA holder?

I only buy PMG graded notes or raw - if I pick up a PCGS graded note (twice to date), out it comes and off to PMG.

This is the first CGA I've bought. I personally like pmg too.

Sorry not sure how to place the picture to the thread.

Why do you like PMG? because its a larger company? because heritage accepts PMG graded material? do you have concerns your note will be graded lower by PMG?
