JIM F.
I always check 1996 $100 AB Prefix notes to see if I might find a rare inverted paper. I found it remarkable how many of these notes are in circulation and in relatively crisp condition. So I devised a theory that the $100 counterfeit "supernote" may have been of this series and prefix. If correct that would explain this and also suggest that many of these in circulations are fakes that can not be detected as such. I confirmed my theory through this article. http://www.japanfocus.org/-John-McGlynn/2423 Here's a pic of the inverted paper (these are real, not "supernotes")
jtryka
So are you implying that the supernotes all have inverted paper, or that inverted paper notes are counterfeit?
JIM F.
No. Inference is that AB 1996 $100 are many supernotes. No linkage to the inverted paper, just a coincidence.
