Ducksoup
Got this from Arby's as change. Sorry for the picture not showing up.. not sure why it isn't. Serial number is B 00292381 * and although the note isn't in the best shape I thought it was cool.

Kenneth F
The wife went to the store the other day and noticed a $2 bill in the register. She asked for it and the clerk was more than happy. It ended up being a 1976 star note, ser# G00639712* She has a good eye!
WiseGuyX
Are Star notes worth anything? A friend gave me one today and said he gets them all the time. I'm not used to grading money but it looks in pretty decent shape.
Ducksoup
They can be worth a small premium depending on condition, serial number etc.. check on ebay for giggles.

So what is considered a low serial number and is their any value difference between a standard low serial note and a Star Note with low serial? JIM F.
A low serial number, ideally would be 1 or 2 digits. Those with 3 digits may command a premium. Unless you have a web star note from the 80's (you don't) in circulated condition just spend it.
jtryka
I would spend it, for such a new bill, it's in pretty rough shape with the wear, folds and bank stamp!
noow
Maybe if you can gather them up in bulk, they will be worth a small premium to buyers.

I thought about it but it doesn't look a big enough return for my time. If it was something I was really into, it would be a different story.
