specimen help needed please.

hello and good day.

 

i have this awsome specimen, but need to know how i can find info on rarity and stage. also what tier would i use when sending to be graded? do they grade specimen notes.

 

measures 2" x 1.25"

This is a specimen of a bond coupon not a piece of paper money. While it is probably unique, its value is largely going to depend on the demand for such items from collectors in Maine or that collect Maine related material. I would only anticipate a value in the neighborhood of $20.00.

 

Both PCGS and PMG would grade this for you but I do not believe it would be worth the expense.
