I need help with two 1934 $20 dollar bills please...

Hi, I sold some junk silver the other day to a guy on craigslist. I didn't realize until I got home that part of the cash that he gave were these two very clean $20 dollar bills. I am a Morgan dollar collector and know absolutely nothing about paper money except that I convert an awfull lot of it to gasoline lately. I do know that these bills have to be somewhat rare simply by the date. Could one of you fine gentelmen take a look at these and let me know what I have. And... are they Mules(just learned that term today)? As I can't seem to upload the pictures here I will leave my email address here and if you could kindly reply, I will send the photos to you asap.

 

1934a is Chicago and the 1934c, is San francisco mint
