Steve in Tampa
I've just viewed a graded note from a respected TPG that was a 6*PQ. The note did not have any tears, splits, or pinholes, and all four corners were intact......other than that, a very dirty, limp, wrinkled note with very little eye appeal. My question is how low of a grade (numerically) can a note be, and still be eligible to recieve a EPQ designation ? What is the lowest grade PMG has used EPQ ? Member Jenna S-migration Posted February 14, 2011 Member Report Share Posted February 14, 2011 Typically 30 is the lowest grade that we will give an EPQ designation. However, we have had a limited amount of notes that we have designated 25EPQ. Bruce Thornton PMG Grader
Steve in Tampa
Thanks Bruce, and I agree. I can't imagine a 6,8,10,12,15 or 20 in decent enough shape to be rewarded this added designation of paper quality. I was "floored" when I origianlly saw the grade.
