Reholdering 'pedigrees'...

Hello,

 

I have a question regarding the David Bowers collection. If I reholder one of these notes (that I may buy), would it come back with the David Bowers notation still on the holder label? Is this a recognized pedigree? How does PMG treat pedigress when it comes to reholdering? Any help is appreciated! Thanks again!
