Hello! I stumbled upon this forum in a search to confirm that this 1917 $1 bill that I purchased is in fact authentic. This is a gift for a very good friend of mine who collects old $1 bills. I am almost certain it is authentic, but before I give it as a gift, I would feel much better with a definitive confirmation.

 

I am a novice when it comes to numismatic collection, so I greatly appreciate any opinions and input from you experts!
