Old money inherited. Can anyone tell us about this piece?

I'm a comic book guy, but know nothing about money as collectibles.

 

My mother inherited a couple of pieces of old, paper money and I was hoping we might get some insight into what this is and if it's worth anything.

I believe the Bank of the United States note is a well known copy. The second is a piece of Japanese Invasion Money from the Philippines, looks to have been torn in half and taped. I don't think there is much value to either note unfortunately.
