With graded modern world currency starting to hit the market there has been a flurry of collector / investor activity to acquire this material. I use this formula: Krause CV + $20 + 10% of CV tack on for each grade point above 63. Example World banknote from a Rwanda (P22 5000 Francs) dated 1988 grading PMG 67 with Krause CV of $60. The proper retail price according to my matrix would be $60 + $20 + (4*$6) = $104. This is a super investment deal for the collector as the market for graded currency is getting hot.

Such a high grade should worth more than just raw CV. I would say my matrix is a tad too conversative. Would you agree? Otherwise how would you price this stuff? In my view notes graded above Ch CU 63 should get a premium above CV.
