spider9698
Hi. I'm a paper newbie but would love to own a couple of $500 and $1000 bills. Not looking for condition. Was wondering where a good venue would be to purchase these bills? Ebay seems to sell low grade $500 starting at $600 and $1000 for $1200 or so. Didn't know if this was ballpark or not. Many thanks in advance.
jtryka
Try Denly's of Boston, they usually have a nice selection (www.denlys.com). As for eBay, they may be cheaper, but I would go for a nicer note that might cost $900 for a $500 and $1,800 for a $1,000 note, but at least then it's a solid note as opposed to one that is worn, torn and just not pleasant to look at. Good luck whatever you decide

EastCoastCurrency
Don't tie up the cash on those two notes. Find a rare note to invest the 2K in.

kbsig106
Heritage Auctions is a good source for buying US Currency. I agree - for the first time I went to their site this week and asked myself why I didn't visit sooner. Some really nice graded and ungraded notes. Coinfiender-migration
Teletrade has started currency auctions once or twice a month. Was able to snag a consecutive 3 run set of PCGS superb gem $2 63 A's for just under $60. Worth checking out, PCGS and PMG graded notes only, no raw material...
