Hi. My name is Tom, I'm 26 and some of you may already know me. I love small-size Gold Certificates. I hope I can help out on this forum as well as be helped by some of you. I have collected currency for a few years now and love it. I started liking currency in middle school after finding a partial offset on a one dollar note. If any of you would like to share a pic of a gold certificate I would like that. When I figure out how to post a pic I'll get some of mine up.

My Ebay name is GoldCurrencyCollector. I know who your talking about. If it makes you feel any better the missing plate error I listed on this thread was bought from him/her a year ago and he/she didn't even know it was an error.

Just curious, does the missing plate # add any premium to the note?

In Dr.Frederick Barts book from 2nd edition U.S. paper money errors It's listed as 750-1,500 and that book is from 2003. I have heard they go for 1,500 to 2,000 now. His book lists only 3 known. I have 3.
