Wide and Wide II designation?

I did a Google search and found no info on the Wide and Wide II designstion I see on the PMG label from time to time (specifically $5 FRNs). Also, on the order from do I need to list Wide/Wide II or will PMG recognize a Wide and note it automatically?

 

I have errors and mules down - the wide(s) have me puzzled...

Thank you for the question! PMG will recognize wide and narrow varities and look for these on all notes of that issue.

 

A handy reference guide is the Standard Guide to Small Size U.S. Paper Money 1928 to Date (7th Edition) by John Schwartz and Scott Lindquist.
