Anyone know what is up with this $100

I have never seen anything like this before any ideas to what would cause this

Don't think this is a mis-print. It looks more like the bill was soaked in some sort of water that reveals the watermark. Also, the ink was penatrated from the opposite side.

My wife does the pen part a lot but never the $100 bill part.

With that color and pattern it almost looks like it was run through a blueprint copying machine.

It was most likely soaked with something blue.

From the looks of the photos, it may also been a printing error! I would have submitted it to see what would have been said as far as grading!
