Geman paper money, circa 1923, 1924 Help!

Hi all! I am new to the message boards and normally spend my time on the comic side of this site, but...

 

I came into a large lot of old German paper money from 1922 and 1923. Unfortunately, I know absolutely nothing about old money! Following are a couple of examples. If anyone can shed some light, that would be great! History, value, etc, etc.

Most of the German notes from 1922, 1923 are extremely common. Germany was going through hyper-inflation and these 500,000,000 mark notes, are really just souvenirs more than anything else. In those grades, the approximate retail value of each would be from 50 cents to $3.00 per note.
