A New Purchase From the BEP

1 post in this topic

Ok... it might not be as exciting as an old note, but for someone who is putting together a collections of New York City items, I thought it was cool. Now sold out, the BEP was selling Series 2003A $2 notes with the serial numbers B2008xxxxD in a folder. The folder is just cardboard printed and folded over. The $2 FRN represents the New York Federal Reserve Bank and is in an open sleeve. Based on what I learned recently, the note was printed in Fort Worth, TX.

I bought three, and have consecutive numbers!

The folder is 9.5 inches wide by 5 inches high closed (10 inches open). I had a difficult time taking a picture of the open folder with my camera, so I scanned it on a letter-sized flat-bed scanner--which is why the edge is "cut off."

I thought it was cool and I'm sharing!!

Scott :hi:
