Muleman
Hey I just noticed something interesting in my $20 collection I have a $20 gold cert dated 1928 and a $20 FRN dated 1928B with a A.W. Mellon. They are both signed the same. Yet I have a $20 FRN numeral district note and the A.W. Mellon signature is a little different. I thought they used the same sig plate for these notes. I wonder if anyone else noticed this difference. The major differences in the Signature i see is 1.) the W is different. 2.) the e in Mellon is different and 3.) the N in mellon on the 1928 has a little hook on the end . Just wondered if this is normal that happened with other series or just this one. I know the elston/kabis marrage last name change but anyone notice this on any other signature.
