1934 JA $100 Out of range.

Check out this cool find.

 

Way out of the range of a 34 $100 500k higher, but woudl fit nicely as a 34 mule except the back plate is 103. . What do you guys think. I still say its the highest known.

Your note is the highest serial number for 1934 non-mules according to S&L.

 

But the use of 1934 faces and micro backs is perfectly normal for this serial number range.

Series 1934 remained in print alongside the entire life of series 1934A, and even spent some time in production with 1934B, so it is not uncommon to see new high numbers, sometimes much higher.
