Scott B
Great looking notes. The only Canadian note I have is the attached Centennial of the Canadian Confederation. It's in UNC condition, but I don't think it's worth more than a few dollars. Scott
oldbucks-migration
Thanks for the responses. They are appreciated. The centennial note in my mind is well laid out and attractive. There are a fair number of them available and I like that I can get GEM condition notes without spending a fortune. Scott B
Nice bills. Imagine that ... different colors for different denominations! The BEP is now doing that. Wait until the new $5 note comes out! Scott
astrostu
Nice bills. Imagine that ... different colors for different denominations! The BEP is now doing that. Wait until the new $5 note comes out! Scott Yeah, I know. But it's only happened in the last 5 years, their implementation is not even (like the giant purple "5" on the back of the $5 isn't present on other denominations for their denomination), and so I can still complain. It just gives me yet another reason to be angry at the government.

I've been collecting Israeli currency, which has some very nice designs. The Israelis have shown that currency can be functional and pretty!
